Our (read "my") new (Grand)baby is here! And I'm going
to use this site to share Sammy with everyone. Needless to say, there will be tons and gobs of pictures!
(It's a proud mom and meemomma thang!)
First, I want to thank my daughter, Jacqueline, (and, no, I am not forgetting
DaddyDoug, 'cuz he did some of it, too!) for giving me this beautiful baby to hug and hold and love and kiss and spoil
completely rotten. (She's SO gonna luv me!) And PapawDave, who kept me mostly sane during all of this baby-stuff. I also want
to thank my other Co-Grandparents, G and Ron, for being good to my baby, while she grew her baby.
And now, for the sparkly bits for my oldest girl.
She was SO amazing. She kept her grace (hard to do in this
particular situation!) and her temper (also difficult, especially if you are my Jacqui!) and her demeanor the whole
time she labored. My God! She was fantastic. I have been so proud of her many times in her life, but never more than during
those thirty-or-so minutes! (Yes, all you other ladies reading this, 30 or so minutes of hard labor!! Be
jealous, it's okay.) I always knew she was special and could do anything. I was SO right.
